Walk the Capes

Day 1 - Saturday 18th
Cape Naturaliste to Yallingup Lagoon– 13.5km

We travel from Perth to Cape Naturaliste where you enjoy a delcious lunch at the lighthouse before beginning the walk along this stunning coast. Depending upon the time of year, whales can often be seen off the coast as we walk from Cape Naturaliste, passing by Sugar Loaf Rock and Kabbijup Beach before arriving at Yallingup.

Day 2 – Sunday 19th
Yallingup to Moses Rock – 17.5km

Starting early we walk from Yallingup, along Smiths Beach and on to Injidup Beach. This is a famous surfing spot and you may be lucky enough to see the local dolphins riding the waves. We also visit Cape Clairault and the secluded Quininup Falls, finishing our walk at Moses Rock.

Day 3 - Monday 20th
Moses Rock to Gracetown – 15.25km

Today we begin from Moses Rock and follow the path until we reach Wilyabrup Bluffs, taking in the spectacular 40m cliffs. Our journey continues to the famous Gracetown
Beach for a well deserved lunch and optional swim.

Day 4 - Tuesday 21st
Gracetown to Prevelly – 18.5km

Today our morning break is at Ellensbrook House, an interesting 150 year old homestead. Then we follow a freshwater spring to Meekadarabee Cave where there is a beautiful waterfall and intriguing local legend. Our walk then takes us inland before emerging back on the coast at Joeys’ Nose, taking in Kilcarnup, Cape Mentelle and Prevelly Park before retiring for the day.

Day 5 - Wednesday 22nd
Prevelly to Boranup Forest – 24.5km

Today we walk to Boranup Forest. This is one of the most scenic days as you enjoy the stunning coastline. Along the way we take in Boodjidup, Redgate Beach and the limestone cliffs and caves of Bob’s Hollow. We lunch at Contos field before entering the serene beauty of Boranup Forest.

Day 6 – Thursday 23rd
Boranup Forest – Cosy Corner – 20.75km

Continuing through Boranup and down to Boranup Beach, we arrive for morning tea at the beautiful Hamelin Bay.

Day 7 – Friday 24th
Cosy Corner to Cape Leeuwin – 21km

Our final trek takes in Skippy Rock, Quarry Bay and the Waterwheel. We finish our journey at the meeting of the Indian and Southern Oceans – Cape Leeuwin. Our journey has finished but your memories will be with you forever.

Day 8 - Friday 25th
Cape Leeuwin to Perth

A leisurely start this morning... After breakfast we commence the return trip to Perth. Travelling via Margaret River, Busselton and Mandurah, we should arrive back about 2.00pm.
